IT & Data

 

Elia's IT Department supports business processes (SAP) and the operation of IT and data communication systems (e.g. PCs, servers, networks, mobile phones, ADSL). We are responsible for real-time applications controlling the grid, Offline Network Calculations (safety) and market applications (NXPRO). Elia is also home to the Governance team, a group of IT specialists who draw up binding documents, map the information system and monitor its safety.

    If the sparks are flying on all sides, we'll draw up a contract for you. Then, once we've discussed it together and signed it, you'll become the latest member of the Elia team. You'll have our Welcome app on your smartphone, giving you all the information you need to get to know us a little better. Welcome onboard!

    Step 3: Starting work

    We believe in giving everyone a warm welcome. That's why we hold an orientation day at our Schaerbeek site, including breakfast, an introduction to safety (of course!), some practical information and a visit to the dispatching centre and a high-voltage substation. We're pretty sure you'll be impressed!

    Step 4: Reviewing your progress

    After six months we'll invite you to spend a day in Brussels, where you'll review your progress and look to the future in the company of our CEO. You'll learn more about our culture, the energy transition and our projects, as well as meeting colleagues and asking HR any questions you may have. A reception will bring the day to a mouthwatering close.
