HR Data Analyst
Function
As an HR Data Analyst you will contribute to a modern and efficient personnel policy based on a thorough understanding of HR data. In recent years, Elia has invested heavily in the implementation of a new cloud-based HR system. We need you as an HR Data Analyst so we can take the next step: creating insight into HR data in order to further support the decision-making processes within the HR department.
Your main duties and responsibilities:
Working with the PMO Manager to develop an HR Data Analytics strategy:
- Setting up a good governance system for HR Reporting while complying at all times with the applicable GDPR legislation
- Working with internal stakeholders to identify their real needs and what insights they require in their day-to-day work
- Making recommendations on how this strategy can contribute to understanding the
- employee lifecycle within Elia
- Recognising and proposing short and long-term goals, milestones and benchmarks for key metrics
Working with the PMO Manager to develop analytical approaches in order to answer strategic questions with insightful, data-driven recommendations:
- Collaborating with the HR team and business in such a way that the data/insights result in improved decision-making and improved business results
- Helping to create and monitor KPIs within the HR domain in order to monitor data quality
- Helping to develop and define a process for making the data available that meets the expectations of the various stakeholders as much as possible
Being responsible for designing and executing data analyses and translating the analytical insights in a simple and powerful way:
- Creatively visualising and reporting the data findings in order to properly provide insight into challenges within the employee lifecycle
- Developing an understanding of the different data components within the various databases
- Producing analysis reports, findings and KPIs and discussing trends within the HR Core Team
Monitoring the quality of the various HR data together with internal stakeholders:
- Carrying out quality checks, where necessary
- Where necessary, making recommendations for improving data quality
Working with the PMO to support users in using analyses and ensuring data quality
Actively monitoring, studying and evaluating developments within Elia and on the market with regard to HR data and analytics in order to be able to offer up-to-date support:
- Monitoring market developments
- Consulting the internet, courses, seminars, etc.
Your Profile
- You have a master's degree.
- You speak fluent French, Dutch and English.
- You have some initial experience with Data Analysis.
- You have a flair for statistics.
- You are motivated to learn to work with Elia's new HR tools (tool-oriented).
- You have a good knowledge of HR processes.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel Power Query).
- You know BI systems (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI).
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have a sense of responsibility and work well in a team.
- You maintain confidentiality at all times.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- You can communicate excellently with both Business and IT.
- You can work independently, take initiative and think in a problem-solving way.
- You are efficient in the execution of your duties.
