Function
The Long Term Steering Program anticipates what are the possible futures that might have implications on Elia activity, and makes sure the organization is fit for purpose for these developments. Starting from the Elia Group strategy and building up on collaboration with Elia business departments, we address its implementation in the core business of Elia Transmission Belgium, by identifying the main uncertainties relating to the specific activities (grid development, system operations, market facilitation) in Belgium in the coming 10 to 15 years, assessing the implications of different external scenarios and providing specific analysis of some trends on the Belgian system.
We make sure that Elia's strategy is translated correctly into the Belgian landscape. We are also developing a collaboration with Elia business departments to maintain the overview of strategic topics, and make sure that the Elia strategy is implemented in a consistent way.
As the Advisor - Long Term Insights, you will actively monitor developments in various technical and cross-disciplinary topics and make substantive contributions to assess the implications of these.
