Elia has its own Elia Academy, which develops and organises technical, soft-skills and safety training courses for Elia employees and contractors. The academy makes us an even stronger learning and development partner for our business. It also creates one central point of contact within Elia for learning and development-related questions and needs. We use our learning and development expertise to develop successful learning paths that involve a combination of soft, technical and safety skills. These learning paths are prepared with the business and reflect our organisation’s strategic priorities.

 

Elia Academy consists of 3 teams, namely the Designers team, the Architects team and the Training Center.

 

The Elia Academy System Architect team:

 

  • is responsible for the Architecture of the Learning Management System (LMS) in SAP SuccessFactors, as regards maintenance and processes.
  • together with the Elia Academy Designers and the Training Center, guides the team in configuring the training paths to be deployed in the LMS, tests this configuration in the test environment, provides guidance on the use of (new) features and helps integrate the new training paths into the LMS according to defined guidelines.
  • also works closely with the Business Analysts and the external vendor to resolve technical configuration design and user issues related to the learning paths created in the LMS.


As a Junior Analyst Learning Platform at Elia Academy you will be responsible for the quality of the range of training provided within the Learning Management System (LMS) as well as the optimal management of the various tools and licenses within Elia Academy.
Together with the Training Center team and Designers, you contribute to an optimal learning environment, where every employee can develop his or her skills.


Your job responsibilities

 

  • You will help manage Step Up (Elia's LMS):
    • You will work closely with colleagues from the Designer team and the Training Center team to set up training and learning programs in Step Up.
    • You will draft work instructions and support colleagues in using Step Up and test out new features and releases.
    • You will follow up issues in Step Up and support employees with problems linked to Step Up (2nd line support).
  • You will be responsible for managing the Elia Academy L&D (Learning & Development) tools and content providers:
    • You will track our content providers’ licenses (Goodhabitz, DataCamp and LinkedIn Learning): you will also track content and promote new content within Elia and Elia Academy so that more employees use these content providers.
    • You will support colleagues with questions, you will also follow up updates & new features. You will test and document them and inform your colleagues about them. Furthermore, you will evaluate the use of these tools and manage the licenses.
    • You will support employees with problems with our tools or platforms (2nd line support).
  • You will dive into the reports and get to know them in order to give the team the necessary tools to continuously improve the operation of Elia Academy.
  • You will keep a close eye on the L&D market: spotted an interesting provider or tool? After a thorough analysis you will put them in contact with the right Elia Academy colleagues.

Required knowledge

 

  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office, Teams & SharePoint.
  • Your native language is FR or NL, you have a very good knowledge of the second language, as well as a good knowledge of English (Elia Group interaction with international colleagues).
  • You have a master's degree or equivalent through experience.

 

Desired skills

 

  • Preferably you already have a first experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning or an equivalent Learning Management System, not only as a user, but also as a system administrator.
  • You have excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail. You like to figure things out and offer solutions.
  • You know how to explain and document things clearly.
  • You have a keen interest in the technical side of the Learning & Development market, specifically tools and platforms.
