As an Asset Data Officer, you play a key role in keeping the technical data of Belgium’s electricity grid up to date.
You ensure that all information about our installations and grid components is correctly recorded and linked in our digital systems.
Thanks to your work, our teams always have reliable data to manage the grid safely and efficiently.
What you will do:
In this role, you work at the crossroads of technology and data.
You collaborate closely with project teams and field colleagues to ensure that new or modified installations are correctly entered into Elia’s databases.
Specifically, you will:
- Register and update technical data related to installations and grid components.
- Check that information is complete and accurate, and adjust where necessary.
- Monitor the progress of the projects you are responsible for.
- Contribute to process improvements and propose more efficient ways of managing data.
- Support the further digitalisation of Belgium’s electricity grid.
You will have the opportunity to work on major projects that play a role in the energy transition, such as new high-voltage connections and offshore initiatives.

Your Profile
- Technical background (Bachelor’s degree or technical secondary education) in electricity, electromechanics, or industrial sciences.
- Accurate, structured, and independent working style.
- Interest in data, digitalisation, and learning new digital tools.
- Basic knowledge of databases or technical drawing/information systems is an asset.
- Fluent communication in Dutch and/or French.
Guidance and development
