Function
During this internship, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support to the Assets Offshore team in data analysis and assist in the research development of remote monitoring technology. Specifically, your duties will be as follows:
- You will conduct a literature review of existing algorithms and methods for congestion management and monitoring of flexible assets.
- You will design and develop new algorithm that can manage congestion by controlling flexible assets.
- You co-perform tests on the developed algorithm to evaluate its performance and identify any problems or bugs.
- You will analyse the results of tests and make adjustments to the algorithm based on these analyses.
- You will help prepare technical documentation for the developed algorithm, including design specifications, test results and usage instructions.
- You collaborate with other team members, including engineers, data scientists and project managers to achieve the project goal.
- You take into account potentially presenting the results of your work to the other members of the team and/or external stakeholders.
Your Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with the following profile:
- Master or MaNaMa student Electromechanics or energy technology.
- Strong programming skills preferably in languages commonly used for algorithm development, such as Python or Java.
- Knowledge of algorithm design and analysis is important. Understanding of principles of congestion management and operation of flexible assets is also a must.
- Having a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, but also collaboration within a tea is important.
- Someone who pays attention to detail and works accurately.
Offer
Period and Duration
The period of the internship takes place from June to September or September to Decemeber, with a duration of minimum 8 weeks and maximum 12 weeks where you are expected to work 3 to 5 days a week. Possibility of integrating and supervising the master's thesis.
