Digital Communication Officer

We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Digital Communication Officer to join our  Project Communication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our organization's digital communication strategies on our infrastructure projects, including community management of the Facebook page of the projects and digital tools used internally and externally to communicate on those infrastructure projects.

 

As a Digital Communication Officer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our company and building strong online communities. If you are a tech-savvy professional with an interest in communicating with stakeholders through online channels, do not hesitate to apply.


Responsibilities :

 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital communication strategy for the infrastructure projects that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage our online community across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms.
  • Create engaging content for our digital platforms, including blog posts, articles, newsletters, and social media updates, to engage our audience and boost our online presence.
  • Monitor, track, and report on feedback and online reviews from our community.
  • Manage the internal digital tools, including template designs, calls-to-action, and content.
  • Keep up to date with digital technology trends and suggest new ideas to enhance the digital strategy of the organization.
  • Respond to comments and stakeholder’s questions promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Support the Project Communication team in their projects communications by creating content (publications, stories...)

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or experience in a  relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Communication Specialist or similar role.
  • Experience in community management and social media.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online stakeholders’ engagement metrics.
  • Proficient in MS Office and social media software.
  • Mother tongue level Dutch and/or French and an excellent level of English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
