Function

 

1. Being responsible for a number of Elia Group patrimony dossier (Dutch-speaking part of the country and part of Brussels)


1.1 Preparation of dossiers

 

  • Understanding both internal and external questions and clearly analyse the needs;
  • Obtain all useful information to arrive at a complete dossier;
  • If necessary, contacting the relevant people at Elia to better understand the situation;
  • Requesting the necessary expert opinions;
  • Proposing solutions.

 

1.2 Contacting counterparties

 

  • Contacting the counterparty to arrange a meeting;
  • Preparing the meeting (including determining strategy);
  • Starting discussions with the counterparties to obtain information and - where applicable - reach an agreement to protect Elia's property;
  • Drawing up minutes of meetings;
  • Travelling for meetings and making various site visits;
  • Making a decision within the given mandate.

 

1.3 Completing the dossier

 

  • Taking care of correspondence; applying and/or adapting the templates in collaboration with the hierarchical manager or, if necessary, with the legal department;
  • Adapting the databases;
  • Monitoring payments;
  • Liaising with internal departments and external departments to follow up files (e.g. contact centre North).

 

2. Maintaining data in the patrimony databases (Ecore/PRT)

 

 

  • Updating the databases and the various filing systems so that the information is available to the entire team;
  • Preparing and drafting reports for both the team and other departments, using databases.


3. Making agreements with external collaborators (including external negotiators, surveyors,...)

 

  • Ensuring the follow-up and monitoring of the activities of external collaborators in the context of outsourcing and - together with the coordinator - the administrative follow-up (a.o. Fiori,...);
  • Ensuring that databases are properly completed by external negotiators for patrimony files;
  • Adapting instructions and, if necessary, amend the agreement in line with the company's objectives;
  • Ensuring - in collaboration with the coordinator for external negotiators - the operational follow-up of negotiators specifically for compensations.

Your Profile

 

  • You have a bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • You are Dutch-speaking with a good knowledge of French. Knowledge of English would be a plus. 
  • You are able to have the necessary conversations and get around.
  • You enjoy working independently but also have team spirit.
  • You can communicate in an assertive, structured way and with empathy.
  • You are administratively strong and have a good critical mind.
  • You are extremely versatile.
  • You are customer-oriented.
  • You can make decisions in compliance with procedures.
  • You have good negotiation skills.
  • You have a class B driving licence and a vehicle to get around on duty.
