As a Treasury analyst, you will assist the Group Treasurer to manage liquidity, funding and financial risk for our expanding portfolio (non-regulated affiliates), including WindGrid (offshore grid development) and Elia Grid International (EGI) (our global consultancy and engineering arm). You will partner with project, finance and banking teams on cross‑border initiatives while shaping the treasury frameworks that enable our international strategy.
The role will mainly involve:
- Affiliates Management:
- Manage cash flows and liquidity positions of the affiliates, including daily cash management, cash forecast and payments
- Evaluate and execute financial short term investment opportunities, including bank deposits, Money Market Funds and other suitable instruments.
- Support in evaluation and execution of short term financing options
- Maintain relationship with the affiliates and banking partners
- Ensure periodic and ad hoc reporting, analysis and follow up (KYC, audit reviews, PoAs)
- Manage intercompany positions and loan agreements
- Provide support to affiliates in opening bank accounts, onboarding new entities, while making sure all data is timely setup in the Treasury Management system
- Ensure adherence to the Group's treasury policies
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency, interest rate and counterparty risks
- Monitor closely financial markets
- Operate FX and interest rate risk frameworks, propose and execute hedging strategies

As a Treasury analyst, you will be based in Brussels and will report to Group Treasurer.
Your Profile
- Hedging experience
- Experience in Corporate Treasury / cash management and sound understanding of financial instruments is a must
- Prior experience with TMS/ERP, preferably SAP
- Technology savvy – MS Excel is a must
- Excellent analytical skills and drive for accuracy
- Synthesizing and organizational skills; project management skills seen as strong asset
- Results-oriented
- Ability to successfully operate in a multicultural environment
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in French, Dutch, and English.
- High standard of ethics and professionalism
