Function
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you act as a strategic partner within the organisation. You contribute to the achievement of business objectives by aligning people strategy with business priorities, supporting Senior Managers and driving sustainable performance and transformation.
This position includes the following responsibilities and tasks:
Strategic Partnering:
- Proactively deploy the HR strategy within the business unit
- Contribute to setting HR priorities aligned with business strategy
- Lead strategic workforce planning (anticipate talent needs, succession planning,...) with a Total Workforce perspective
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategic HR topics
- Analyze HR and business data to guide decision-making
- Drive cultural transformation to support strategic goals
- Support Business Plan (Tariff File) definition and arbitration and define sourcing strategies together with business stakeholders
Transformation & Change:
- Take an advisory and pioneering role in change and continual improvement.
- Support leaders during reorganization, digitalization or new ways of working.
- Coach managers through change
- Challenge assumptions and encourage innovative thinking and adaptability
- Act as a bridge between HR and business during transformation initiatives
Operational Excellence:
- Guide, support and advise managers on Organizational design and development, Team performance and engagement, Talent management and succession planning
- Support career development and internal mobility
- Enable managers to effectively implement HR policies and practices
- actively work with your colleagues in the business to develop workable and achievable HR services and instruments
- Regularly consult and coordinate with your HR colleagues.
- Recognize the HR processes within the organisation, indicate the bottlenecks and translate this into advice for HR and management.
Social dialogue:
- Ensure the preparation and organisation of social consultations and syndicate meetings for the subjects within his/her business portfolio so the division results can be met in a good social climate and that the employees are treated fairly ad honestly
- Take the responsibility in these meetings for the negotiations for your assigned topics.
Leading of/participating in projects:
- You are a project manager for one or more HR projects.
- You provide specific professional input for other HR projects.
- You take part in cross-functional project groups.
Your Profile
- You have a university degree.
- You have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in a strategic HR position and knowledge of the following HR domains (recruiting, training, competency management, remuneration policy, social relations).
- You have good knowledge of the social legislation.
- You are customer-oriented, team-oriented, proactive and results-oriented.
- Precision, a sense of responsibility and cooperation are values that we consider important.
- You are trilingual (NL, FR, EN).
