Function
Within the SITO division and under the accountability of the Head of SITO, the Head of Transformation Portfolio and Performance Management is responsible for the governance, performance management and integrated oversight of ETB’s transformation portfolio (digital and non-digital).
The role oversees the translation of strategy (ETB 5Y/1Y OKRs) into an executable roadmap, monitors transformation performance through KPIs, and ensures portfolio coherence, prioritization and execution in order to maximize business impact for ETB.
This position acts as a central link between strategy, execution and performance, working closely with senior managers across divisions, program managers (including Tier 1 programs) and the ETB Executive Committee (ExCo). The role also maintains strong relationships with Group Portfolio Management, Group Strategy, Group and Local IT, and Group and Local Controlling.
Beyond ensuring portfolio governance, the role serves as a strategic partner to the Head of SITO and the ExCo by proposing, challenging and continuously refining the company’s transformation ambitions, priorities and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Governance of ETB’s Digital and Non-Digital Transformation Portfolio
- Define and implement an integrated governance framework for transformation.
- Ensure alignment of the transformation portfolio with the company’s strategic objectives (ETB 5Y/1Y OKRs).
- Structure and lead decision-making and steering processes for transformation initiatives (ABR/QBR, OKRs), challenging ambitions, priorities and trade-offs proposed by the divisions.
- Ensure effective implementation of the 5-step approach across divisions and its consolidation at ETB level, in collaboration with Group Strategy and relevant SITO stakeholders (business architects, program managers, etc.).
- Develop a first consolidated version of ETB’s 1-year and 5-year OKRs and facilitate review sessions with ExCo members.
2. Integrated Management of ETB’s Digital and Non-Digital Transformation Portfolio
- Oversee effective portfolio management (scope, budget, planning, resources and quality) in line with guidance from SITO (processes), Controlling (budget), and other stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of portfolio data and portfolio management tools (e.g., Sciforma or equivalent).
- Manage dependencies across programs and coordinate reporting towards the Group organization.
3. Transformation Performance Management
- Support the definition of transformation KPIs (Key Results) at enterprise level.
- Assess performance against baselines and strategic objectives.
- Identify risks, recommend corrective actions and actively challenge program managers and senior leaders on ambition levels, value creation and achieved performance.
- Together with the Head of SITO, facilitate ExCo discussions regarding transformation ambitions, priorities and strategic direction.
- Develop a clear view of the transformation journey and recommend adjustments where necessary.
- Consolidate enterprise-wide transformation reporting for ExCo and Group entities.
- Prepare and facilitate transformation QBRs, providing critical analysis of results, gaps and required trade-offs.
- Proactively recommend portfolio adjustments, accelerations or initiative terminations when expected value can no longer be demonstrated.
4. Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Provide strategic analyses, recommendations and executive reporting to leadership bodies.
- Ensure clear and structured communication regarding the transformation roadmap, prioritization decisions and key changes.
- Facilitate collaboration between business, IT, finance and transformation teams.
- Influence decision-making at senior management and Executive Committee level.
5. People Management
- Lead and develop a team of portfolio managers through coaching, objective setting and performance management.

Experience
- Significant experience in transformation, portfolio management or program management (budgets, risks, roadmaps and prioritization).
- Strong expertise in performance management, KPIs and executive reporting.
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Ability to combine strategic vision with operational execution.
- Proven people management experience.

Languages
