Job description 

 

As an Internal Communications intern, you will be a valuable member of our digital communications team and help with various tasks, including the following:

 

  • Issuing newsletters, press releases, analyses and other communications.
  • Modifying various aspects of the Elia website (content, images).
  • Managing social media activities, including posts and analyses.
  • Writing internal communications articles.
  • Assisting with minor graphic design work (e.g. posters, digital signage).
  • Helping translate publications.
  • Taking part in general activities and projects.
  • Helping organise events at Elia.
  • Creating and editing videos.

EXTERNAL Your Profile

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with the following profile:

 

 

  • You are currently working towards your bachelor's or master's degree in communications, languages or literature (prior experience as a communications intern would be a plus).
  • You have an excellent command of French and a good grasp of Dutch or an excellent command of Dutch and a good grasp of French. Knowledge of English would be an advantage.
  • You have very good writing skills.
  • You have experience using social networks.
  • You are familiar with email management.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • You have good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a creative and proactive attitude.

Internship opportunities:

 

  • This internship gives you the opportunity to integrate a master's thesis.

 

Period and duration:

 

  • This internship can take place at any time of year and can last between eight and twelve weeks or more, depending on your availability and learning goals. You can choose to work between two and five days per week.
