The energy sector is undergoing unprecedented transformation, with digitalization reshaping how we operate and maintain our grid. From substation that are digitalizing to the migration to the cloud or the need to integrate new technology to the managed stack. Our IT infrastructure needs are evolving rapidly. We need your expertise to manage these critical projects that span across infrastructure, networks, and security domains.

 

Within our IT Infrastructure department, we're looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to drive critical transversal projects.

 

You'll be part of a newly established transversal department, working alongside experts in project delivery, IT services design or operations. Your role will be crucial in shaping how Elia Group implements and manages its critical infrastructure projects.

You'll lead complex transversal projects within our IDS department (IT Infrastructure, Datacom & Security) within our Process & Portfolio Management team, working at the intersection of infrastructure, network, and security. Your projects will be essential in enabling Elia Group's digital transformation, from implementing new digital substation capabilities to establishing secure, connected operations centers.

 

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of transversal infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate with multiple technical teams across infrastructure, network, and security domains but also outside the IDS department (in IT or in the business)
  • Project ranging from support to new infrastructure project to organizational & process evolution or the integration of new technologies
  • Manage project scope, timeline, and budget while ensuring technical excellence
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and communication across departments
  • Ensure security and compliance requirements are met throughout project lifecycle
  • Contribute to the development and the execution of new transversal services processes and capabilities

Your Profile

 

  • Degree in IT, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of IT Infrastructure project management experience in complex technical environments
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles
  • Experience with digital transformation projects in industrial environments
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in international teams
  • Fluency in English and in French or Dutch is a must and professional capacity in the other language and German is appreciated
  • PMP/Prince2 certification is an advantage.

Location

  • Ave. de Vilvoorde, 1000 Bruxelles (Schaerbeek train station) + work from home.
  • Regular travel within Belgium and occasional trips to Berlin.
