Role Summary
As a Junior Investor Relations Analyst, you play a vital role in supporting the Investor Relations function at Elia Group. You will primarily assist in the Annual Report project, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• You assist in the creation and compilation of the Integrated Annual Report
• You contribute to developing financial and certain non-financial sections of the Annual Report.
• You help coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Strategy, Legal, Sustainability, Regulatory) to gather and synthesize data for the Annual Report.
• You help with the translation, editing, and proofreading of French and Dutch versions of the Annual Report.
• You help with the analysis of the financial and ESG reports on Elia Group, its peers and its end markets published by the financial community and report back internally
• You help coordinate the organization of events for the financial community (roadshows, site visits, conference calls, investor meetings, capital market days)
• You keep the content of the Investor Relations section of the Elia Group website updated
• You help manage the CRM for Investor Relations
• Support the IR team in preparing briefing materials for management
Your Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- You are highly proficient with the Office software environment, particularly Excel and Powerpoint and have proficiency to (learn how to) use financial data management tools, content and CRMs, etc
- You must be able to speak and write both French and Dutch fluently.
- Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus)
- You drive to achieve results on time and are willing to go the extra mile
- You have a keen eye for both the bigger picture and detail
- You can work independently, efficiently and creatively within regular and tight deadlines
- You are open, communicative and a team player
- You are enthusiastic, curious and willing to learn about Elia Group, its activities and its peers
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks for energy and ESG (e.g., EU Taxonomy, CSRD)
- Previous internship or work experience in finance, investor relations, corporate communication, or business consulting
