Function

 

Elia is facing a major challenge: facilitating electrification. As part of the energy transition, a significant increase in electricity consumption is expected, both among customers directly connected to the Elia grid and among distribution system operators. Close cooperation in terms of grid developments, flexibility, operational management, etc. with the distribution system operators is therefore crucial to the success of this challenge.

 

As Junior KAM Distribution System Operator, you will support two experienced KAMs in daily tasks and project work. Your most important responsibilities are:

 

  • Digitising existing processes:
    • You will take the lead in transforming existing processes into a digital, customer-friendly environment. You will be the link between the business and IT teams.

 

  • Grid development and technical analysis:
    • You will support the Key Account Manager in the follow-up of grid development projects, also to check whether technical requirements are in line with contractual agreements.
    • You perform technical analyses.

 

  • Management of enquiries/complaints:
    • You will support the Key Account Manager and take the necessary actions to provide the customer with the fastest and most appropriate response (advice, information, action, etc.).

 

  • Customer data management:
    • You will ensure that customer files are complete and correct, recording the information in the appropriate systems and forwarding the information to the relevant departments.

Your Profile

 

  • You are an industrial or civil engineer, anyway with a technical background.
  • You may have a first junior experience but are also welcome as a motivated school leaver!
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French (you can work in the other language anyway) and you also have a good knowledge of English.
  • You are willing to seek out the information you need and contact various departments for this purpose.
  • You can organise and prioritise your work independently - of course you will be advised in this by the KAMs with whom you work.
  • You can analyse and formulate a proposal from various pieces of information.

  • Interest subsidies: after you have been with Elia for 5 years, Elia Engineering will be able to offer you a subsidy to reduce the interest charges on your mortgage loan. This will only be possible if the mortgage loan was taken out when you were already an Elia employee. 
  • Elia shares: Elia will give you the opportunity to subscribe to shares with a discount of 16.66% on the average share price.
