Elia is facing an ambitious challenge: to facilitate electrification as part of the energy transition. A significant increase in electric consumption is expected, from both customers connected directly to the Elia grid and distribution system operators. Close and constructive collaboration with the distribution system operators in respect of grid development, flexibility and operational exploitation will be essential for the successful achievement of this challenge.

As the Junior Key Account Manager DSO, you will be part of a dynamic and forward-looking team but also have the chance to make a real difference. Your responsibilities? You will be given the opportunity to:
- build a bridge between Elia and distribution system operators: you will identify their needs and work with your colleagues to translate them into concrete actions. Your efforts will pave the way for optimal collaboration between internal and external partners.
- lead the way in digitalisation: you will be the catalyst of process innovation and modernisation. You will work with our IT experts to translate business challenges into digital, customer-oriented solutions.
- provide customer-tailored grid connections: you will support the DSO and TSO teams responsible for the design and implementation of grid connections for distribution customers. In addition, you will actively contribute to the development of innovative connection and flexibility products in order to respond optimally to customer needs and the evolution of the electricity grid.
- switch quickly and in a customer-oriented manner: you will answer customers’ questions and concerns promptly by providing advice, taking action or providing accurate information; by doing this, you will contribute directly to their satisfaction.
- apply your smart customer-data management skills: you will work meticulously and make sure that all files are kept up to date and that the right information reaches the right colleagues.
Your Profile
- You hold a degree in industrial engineering, civil engineering or business engineering, with an affinity for technical matters.
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience.
- You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a good command of the other language as well as English.
- You are comfortable seeking out the information you need and contacting different departments to obtain it.
- You are able to organize your work independently and set priorities.
- You are able to analyse information from different sources and formulate a proposal based on your analysis.
- You are customer-oriented and able to accurately identify the needs of both internal and external stakeholders and translate them into a simple solution.
