🌟 Are you a recent graduate in civil or industrial engineering passionate about safety and making a difference in the energy sector? Join our Safety, Quality & Competence team at the Operational Center of Excellence (OCE) and help us support operational safety while empowering our Assets organization! 

 

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow while actively contributing to a culture of safety. You will assist in implementing essential processes that prioritize personal safety and operational excellence. 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

🔗 Operational Dialogue

 

  • Engage with Safety representatives across the country to exchange experiences and best practices.
  • Help define common safety objectives and support our regional teams in achieving them. 
  • Respond to safety inquiries and collaborate with our Internal Prevention department to ensure compliance with safety regulations. 

 

📚 Documentation Management

 

  • Assist in managing and improving operational safety documentation. 
  • Participate in drafting and updating safety instructions, ensuring they are clear and effective.
  • Support training and communication initiatives to roll out new safety instructions. 

 

🎓 Safety Training & Certification

 

  • Help manage and improve training programs that enhance operational safety. 
  • Identify needs for new training courses and assist in designing and delivering engaging content. 

 

🏞️ Field Visits

 

  • Participate in regular field visits to observe and evaluate safety practices. 
  • Analyze observations and collaborate with teams to implement necessary improvements. 
  • Contribute to quarterly meetings to identify trends and develop action plans for enhancement. 

 

🌟 Collaboration & Communication 

 

  • Work closely with various departments, including Safety, HR, and Infrastructure, to promote a culture of safety. 
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to safety and share insights through team meetings and feedback sessions. 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Recent Graduates: You hold a master's degree in civil or industrial engineering or can demonstrate equivalent experience. 
  • Safety Passion: You are enthusiastic about safety management and have a desire to learn about safety systems and culture. 
  • Analytical Mindset: You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Communication Skills: You are a good communicator and enjoy collaborating with different teams.
  • Language Proficiency: You are bilingual in French and Dutch and have a good command of English.

  • Salary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€8 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport & culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results.
