Your main tasks:
Administrative:
- Being the main point of contact for the Group Procurement department's internal customers, answering their questions and providing rapid solutions in the event of problems or emergencies.
- Working with our specialist technicians, ensuring the technical compatibility of offers when replenishing stocks.
- Managing stock movements via SAP, particularly concerning cables and conductors.
- Organising urgent transport from the central warehouse to construction sites and sites in Belgium.
- Managing the schedule for the use of the lifting line (cable machine) and validating its use each week with the team.
- Being responsible for inventory management, from the creation of documents to the regularisation of stock discrepancies working together with a colleague and the logistics manager.
Operational:
- Carrying out picking and reception in our decentralised warehouses.
- Taking part in loading and unloading cables (reels) in our cable yards, while operating the lifting line in pairs.
- Being available for emergency interventions outside normal working hours (evenings or weekends, approximately once a month).
Your Profile
- You hold a diploma in logistics or have equivalent experience.
- You are an effective communicator, at ease both orally and in writing, with a strong customer focus.
- You have a sound knowledge of Outlook, Teams and Excel, and have experience with an ERP or WMS (preferably SAP).
- You have an interest in the technical aspects of warehouse management and the energy sector.
- You hold a category B driving licence and are able to work in French or Dutch, with a sound understanding of the second language.
- You enjoy working as part of a team and playing an active part in our shared success.
Additional assets:
- A certificate for the use of a stacker, forklift or bridge crane would be a plus.
