Product Manager
Function
With the Consumer Centric program, we want to enable demand-driven flexibility. By offering new energy services, we can integrate more renewable energy, limit CO2 emissions, guarantee security of supply at a reasonable price and increase consumer satisfaction.
As a Product Manager your main responsibilities will be :
- Proactively engage with Elia's customers and stakeholders (through interviews, workshops, roadshows, etc.) to establish a dialogue around their needs and priorities. By maintaining a privileged relationship with them, you make sure you understand their current and future needs and represent their interests within Elia.
- Develop, in co-creation with consumers and market players, the new services asked by consumers. Be a master in translating customer insights and knowledge into customer value propositions and propose innovative, consumer-oriented solutions.
- Identify synergies between evolutions in the energy market, stakeholder needs and Elia's strategy to facilitate the energy transition for Elia.
- Define the vision and ambition for products & services in line with the overall business strategy and the growing expectations of customers.
- Define the go-to-market strategy as expert to highlight unique selling proposition and key strengths of the products & services.
- Strive for continuous improvement of the services, with an innovative, data-driven and customer-centric mindset. Act as a product specialist for implementation and post-sales activities and actively collaborate with operational teams to gather market feedback regarding continuous product improvement.
- Participate in discussions with the Consumer Centricity team and share the information gathered to subsequently integrate it into the department's roadmaps.
Your Profile
- You have a university master's degree, preferably with a technical or economic orientation
- You have several years of experience in the energy sector and a good knowledge of the energy market & of the European continental electricity network
- You ideally have knowledge of the regulatory framework
- You speak Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of German is a plus
- You have strong analytical capabilities to simulate complex mechanisms and analyze the results
- You are able to build a network and establish good relationships with key stakeholders
- You can communicate clearly with different types of interlocutors
- You like working in a team and are result oriented
- You like to come up with innovative and creative solutions to complex problems
- You work independently and responsibly, and are a good organizer
