Build the future of our energy network

Elia Group aims to be a frontrunner in the energy transition. We are looking for a motivated Product Owner to manage and further develop our Asset Network Model Product. You will define the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities for our applications that manage the network’s master data (HV assets, protection systems, network, and connectivity).

Together with stakeholders and development teams, you will build an end-to-end solution that ensures all network data is reliable and accessible to all our internal users. In this way, you will directly contribute to Elia’s digital future.

Your contribution and responsibilities

• Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and growth opportunities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate their needs into product requirements.
• Align with other Product Owners within digital optimization to ensure a consistent vision.
• Collaborate with development teams to secure the implementation of product requirements.
• Set priorities, monitor the roadmap, and report on progress and milestones.
• Ensure operational excellence, resilience, and second-line support.
• Guarantee knowledge transfer to first-line support and organize support when needed.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to implement innovative solutions.
• Measure product performance and user satisfaction using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct user research and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure communication and alignment with all stakeholders and management.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Initial experience as a Product Owner, preferably in information management.
• Knowledge of master data systems, operational data management processes, Data Mesh, data products, data contracts, and data quality KPIs and tools.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies; tech-savvy and curious about new technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on mindset, problem-solving ability, and creative thinking.
• Team player with the ability to work across multifunctional teams.
• Languages: English. Dutch, French, or German are a plus.
