A key role at the heart of Elia’s digital transformation

 

Every year, Elia receives around 95,000 information requests about works carried out near its high-voltage installations.

 

The Contact Center is often the first point of contact with Elia and ensures that these works are carried out correctly and safely.

 

In this context, you will be responsible for the development, stability and evolution of the tools and processes that support these interactions — efficiently, seamlessly, and in compliance with legal requirements (Gigabyte, IMKL 3.0, etc.).

 

Your main responsibilities

 

You will work closely with development and operational teams to:

 

  • stabilise and improve existing processes;
  • support internal users and enhance their efficiency;
  • translate customer and stakeholder needs into concrete solutions;
  • contribute to continuous improvement and innovation of systems.

Concretely, your role includes

 

  • Implementing the Product methodology as defined within Elia.
  • Defining and communicating a clear product vision aligned with user needs and group strategy.
  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap (features, priorities, release planning) to ensure operational continuity within the legal framework.
  • Managing and prioritising the backlog according to user and stakeholder needs.
  • Coordinating the implementation of product evolutions, as well as documentation (interaction maps, manuals, processes and procedures) and user training.
  • Developing a dashboard to measure performance and customer satisfaction, conducting surveys and proposing continuous improvements.
  • Collaborating with other Product Owners to ensure a coherent and integrated approach to digitalisation within Elia and to strengthen product robustness.

As Product Owner of the Contact Center, you will play a key role in the digitalisation and efficiency of the services Elia provides to its external partners (contractors, design offices, public authorities, local residents…).

 

Thanks to your work, thousands of construction projects take place safely each year near the high-voltage network.

 

You will directly contribute to the safety, reliability and energy transition of the country.

What you bring

 

  • Master’s degree in IT, engineering, business or equivalent experience.
  • Initial experience in product ownership, process improvement or digital transformation is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Analytical, customer- and solution-oriented mindset, able to unite teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work regularly on site in Merksem and Crealys.
  • Good command of Dutch, French and English.
