Function

 

The Program Management Officer (PMO) has a keyrole in the planning, the coordination and the execution of several important infrastructure programs at ELIA. In close collaboration with the Program Manager (PM) but autonomously the PMO supervises, coordinates and optimises the management of several programs

 
Key responsbilities in the position of Program Management Officer are :

  • Participate daily in the different tasks of Program Management according to the PMI methodology PMI and best practices in projectmanagement.
  • Actively be involved in determining the baseline of the program and coordinate all program activities (scope, planning, financial follow-up,ressources-management).
  • Facilitate the risk management, anticipate problems and decide with the team about eventual mitigating actions.
  • Keep the reporting of the program up to date and be able to justify deviations.
  • Manage and control the internal and external communication of the progress of the program. 
  • Identify opportunities of proces improvement and work at the continuous improvement of the projectmanagement.

Your Profile

 

Your profile as Program Management Officer:
 

  • You have a Master in a financial or technical orientation or equal by experience.
  • You have excellent organisational skills and are able to make decisions to solve problems.
  • You love to work in team and want to have an impact.
  • You communicate efficiently and have strong leadership qualities.
  • You communicate easily in Dutch, French and English.
  • A PMI/PMP certificate or a similar experience (min. 4 years in projectmanagement) is a plus.

  • Elia shares: Elia will give you the opportunity to subscribe to shares with a discount of 16.66% on the average share price.
