As a Risk Manager you are part of the P2MO department within the Infrastructure division and you provide project management expertise (risk, schedule, quality) on specific projects and increase the project management maturity of the company.


 
In this role you will govern and manage the risk process and your main tasks will be:

 

  • Make sure the Risk Management Plan’s process and procedures are put in place and respected and suggest improvements on the risk management methodology
  • Organize Risk Management meetings and report on the program risks
  • Audit the ongoing risk management of the EPC contractors and exchange relevant information.
  • Log identified risks in a tool, assessment of risk impacts, identification and follow-up of mitigation actions
  • Make simulations and monte carlo analysis on cost and planning(contingency calculation)
  • Provide expertise input to the program members on risk management

Your Profile

 

  • You have a technical/economical Master degree
  • You have a minimum of 3 years experience in risk management and you have knowledge of risk management techniques, methodologies and tools.
  • You have strong project management capabilities and a high learning curve.
  • Knowledge of the project management methodology PMI/PMBOK,  of large infrastructure project risks and high voltage transmission infrastructure projects is an asset.
  • You are a proactive, strong communicator and team player.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French, and have a good knowledge of English

  • Interest subsidies: after you have been with Elia for 5 years, Elia Engineering will be able to offer you a subsidy to reduce the interest charges on your mortgage loan. This will only be possible if the mortgage loan was taken out when you were already an Elia employee. 
  • Elia shares: Elia will give you the opportunity to subscribe to shares with a discount of 16.66% on the average share price.
