As a Scheduling Officer, you will assist a number of Program Managers and an Officer and will be in charge of the schedule management of Infrastructure projects from design, construction till the start of commercial operations.
You will also participate in the improvement of the schedule management governance and processes, give training and coaching on schedule management.
Your main tasks will be:
- Defining schedule management:
- Define/validate/challenge the schedule management approach, taking into account enterprise environmental factors and other program-specific constraints or requirements.
- Establish a framework for managing schedules: and elaborate the scheduling requirements to be imposed to the EPC contractors
- Define schedule reporting as part of the program reporting.
- Document the schedule management approach in the Schedule Management Plan.
- Contribute to the integration of the program schedule with other project management knowledge areas like scope management, procurement/contract management/interface management
- Establish and maintain the program schedule:
- Set up the structure in the scheduling tool (MSP and Primavera P6);
- Organizing the necessary meetings to gather the contents.
- Continuously challenge the scheduling inputs.
- Apply estimating technique for estimating schedule durations and variances. Introduce more advanced scheduling techniques where necessary.
- Progress monitoring
- Perform schedule analysis & reporting:
- Change impact analysis
- Schedule Risk Assessment
Your Profile
- You have 5 years experience in a similar role and knowledge of project management methodology PMI/PMBOK and of schedule management techniques and methodologies.
- You have expert knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS Project/Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of infrastructure projects (Engineering, Construction), of high voltage transmission infrastructure projects and/or offshore works is an asset.
- You are a proactive, strong communicator and team player, allowing you to gather the necessary scheduling inputs with a critical view.
- You have the ability to perform data-driven analysis and translate this into clear conclusions and messages.
- Proficiency in Dutch and French is required, as well as a good knowledge of English.
