Elia Group is looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Strategy Manager to join the Strategic Vision team within the Group Strategy, Transformation and Innovation Department. The Belgian-German Strategic Vision team is responsible for shaping the long-term strategy and positioning of Elia Group, combining strategic foresight with strong stakeholder engagement to translate energy transition developments into concrete strategic direction and sustainable growth opportunities.
In this role, you will shape the future direction of Elia Group by turning forward-looking insights into strategic choices and impactful decisions at the highest level:
- Develop forward-looking insights through qualitative and quantitative analyses of market, regulatory, societal, and technological trends
- Drive stakeholder alignment by engaging senior internal and external stakeholders, leveraging expert exchanges and a strong industry network
- Translate insights into action by crafting clear, compelling storylines that inform executive decision-making
- Lead strategic initiatives, structuring, managing, and delivering high-impact projects across different functions and countries
- Evaluate strategic opportunities including growth initiatives, partnerships, and M&A as part of broader strategic assessments
Your Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
- You have a strong interest in the energy transition, electricity markets, and grid systems, combined with 3–7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, M&A, finance, corporate development, or a related field. Candidates with prior experience in the energy sector will be strongly preferred and considered as a priority.
- You combine a proactive, structured, and impact-driven mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, turning complex topics into clear, actionable insights
- You confidently engage senior stakeholders, translating strategic, financial, and regulatory perspectives into compelling narratives and action plans.
- You are open to occasional travel (3–4 times/year)
- You are fluent in English and French or Dutch; German is a strong asset
