Your impact at Elia
At Elia, operator of the Belgian electricity transmission network, we play a key role in the energy transition.
To support our infrastructure projects and ensure the reliability of our high-voltage network, we are looking for a Team Coordinator – Master Data Management Operations.
This role has a strongly operational focus and is closely embedded in the day-to-day management of technical master data. You play a key role in the accurate management, follow-up and availability of reference data relating to our assets and installations, which are essential for both projects and network operations.
Through your coordination, quality focus and close collaboration with internal stakeholders, you directly contribute to the efficiency, reliability and continuity of our operational activities.
Your role
You are part of Elia’s operational core and work closely with your team on a daily basis. You ensure that technical master data is correctly, timely and qualitatively encoded, updated and managed.
Specifically, you will:
- organise, plan and follow up the daily activities of a bilingual team (FR/NL), in line with project needs and internal stakeholder expectations;
- ensure the quality, consistency and completeness of technical master data (equipment, locations, functions, etc.);
- work closely with project teams in the field to ensure that required information is available accurately and on time;
- act as the main point of contact (SPOC) for projects and questions related to the team;
- provide ad hoc technical support and intervene in more complex files or questions;
- identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to the optimisation of processes, tools and methodologies;
- organise team meetings and ensure clear, efficient communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
The coordinating responsibility in this role is closely linked to daily work organisation, on-the-job support and quality follow-up.
The position does not include strategic or hierarchical management at departmental level.
Your Profile
You feel comfortable in a structured, stable and operational working environment and are motivated by accuracy, follow-up and collaboration.
In addition, you:
- have an affinity with technical infrastructure, assets and data;
- have knowledge of high- and low-voltage equipment or the Elia network, or are willing to further develop this expertise;
- have experience coordinating tasks or teams and possess strong organisational skills;
- work in a structured and quality-oriented manner, with attention to detail and continuity;
- communicate clearly and constructively with various internal stakeholders;
- are familiar with databases and tools such as MS Office, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint;
- speak Dutch or French and have a good knowledge of the other national language (or are willing to develop it). Knowledge of English is an asset.
