Elia, a key player in electricity transmission in Belgium and Europe, is looking for a Teamlead & As-Built Plans Support to manage our technical documentation and support our processes.

Your Role at Elia
You will work closely with study designers, as-built designers, and technicians. You will support the administrative management and quality control of the technical database that underpins Elia’s energy infrastructure.
You will be responsible for:
Team guidance and support
- You will coordinate a bilingual (FR/NL) administrative team spread across three locations: Merksem, Créalys, and Schaerbeek.
- You will motivate and support team members in their daily tasks.
- You will plan and coordinate work to meet stakeholders’ expectations and deadlines.
Management of technical plans and quality control
- You will oversee the entire process of technical plans: from the initial request by contractors to the processing of as-built documents.
- You will evaluate and coordinate the correction of non-compliant plans.
- You will manage the import and migration of documents into our tool (ProjectWise) and ensure the quality and consistency of metadata.
- You will manage paper plans available on-site and regularly schedule field checks to be carried out by the team.
Process optimization and user support
- You will propose improvements to processes related to document management.
- You will provide training to users of **ProjectWise** and be their point of contact for any questions.
- You will ensure alignment between the digital plan database and paper documents.
What You Bring to Elia
- We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role and a strong technical affinity:
- You have relevant experience in guiding or coordinating a team.
- You have practical experience with technical documents and infrastructure projects.
- You possess good organizational skills and work in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook). Knowledge of ProjectWise is a plus.
- You are bilingual (FR/NL) and have a good command of English (or are willing to improve it).
- You are willing to travel weekly to the three different sites.
- A BA4 certificate is a plus, or you are willing to obtain it.
