That is why we are looking for a Teamlead Asset Network Model Data Operations.
In this key role, you combine operational coordination, people management and technical expertise. You will lead a team responsible for collecting, processing and making critical technical data available to a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Asset Management, System Planning, System Operations and Engineering.
You will also use your operational experience to further optimize software solutions and processes together with the Asset Network Model Product Teams. In doing so, you will make a direct contribution to the quality, efficiency and continuity of our operational activities.
Your role
You are responsible for the day-to-day organization and coordination of a bilingual (Dutch/French) team managing technical master data.
More specifically, you will:
- organize, plan and monitor the team’s daily activities based on project needs and internal stakeholder requirements;
- ensure the quality, consistency and completeness of technical master data (equipment, locations, functions, geospatial data, etc.);
- work closely with project teams to ensure that the required information is available accurately and on time;
- act as the team’s Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for projects and related requests;
- provide technical support for more complex cases;
- identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to optimizing processes, tools and methodologies;
- organize team meetings while fostering open communication and knowledge sharing;
- contribute to defining and implementing KPIs;
- act as a subject matter expert in the further optimization and automation of software solutions and operational processes;
- document, structure and continuously improve your team’s processes.
The coordination responsibility in this position is strongly focused on the daily organization of work, on-the-job coaching and quality monitoring.
Your Profile
You enjoy working in a structured operational environment where quality, collaboration and accuracy are key. You understand the importance of reliable data and want to make a difference in an environment where data has a direct impact on the operation of the Belgian high-voltage grid.
In addition:
- you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (IT, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Physics, etc.);
- you have an affinity for technical infrastructure, assets and data;
- you have knowledge of high- and low-voltage equipment or electricity networks, or are eager to develop this expertise;
- you have experience coordinating teams or operational activities;
- you work in a structured, quality-oriented manner;
- you communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders;
- you are familiar with databases and tools such as MS Office, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint;
- you are fluent in Dutch or French and have a good command of the other national language. Knowledge of English is an asset.
