1. Context & Role

 

Elia’s Strategy Implementation & Transformation Office (SITO) drives transversal, high‑impact transformation programs that support the company’s long‑term strategic ambitions. The team operates close to Executive Management and collaborates across all business domains.

As a Program Manager you will lead one or several strategic programs end‑to‑end. Your first assignment will be to steer the deployment of AI at scale across Elia, a mission with major strategic stakes for the Group and direct exposure to senior leadership (ETB, Group, and ExCo level). You will translate strategic objectives into concrete execution, shape program governance, and ensure effective delivery with multidisciplinary teams.

You will join a central pool of experienced transformation managers who are deployed on transversal priorities across the organization.

Your Profile

 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Economics, Technology…).
  • Proven experience in program management, strategic transformation, or leading complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to translate high‑level direction into operational plans.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including interactions with senior leadership.
  • Skilled in risk management, governance structuring, budget oversight, and reporting.
  • Leadership experience: motivating teams, managing conflicts, coaching project leaders.
  • Proactive, result‑driven, structured, and comfortable operating with high visibility and strategic pressure.
  • Experience with digital or AI‑related initiatives is an asset.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the Elia Group.
