  • Language Ambassador: As a member of our translation team, you will contribute to Elia's clear communication by translating internal and external documents with care. From crucial publications and important letters to detailed reports, you are key to getting our message across in French.
  • Connecting Link: As a linguistic expert, you will be the first point of contact for internal customers with questions about language and translations. Your excellent command of Dutch, French and English lays the foundation for smooth communication within the team.
  • Top quality: Quality is of paramount importance to you. By delivering high-quality translations on time, you contribute to an optimal service within the established deadlines.
  • Structured Management: In addition to your translation skills, you are an expert in managing translation processes. Administration, budgeting, archiving, documentation - you ensure a streamlined approach and an efficient working method.
  • Coordination with External Partners: You take the lead in coordinating and monitoring translation assignments outsourced to external agencies, which support our translation team.
  • Terminology management: You manage the industry-specific terminology list to ensure consistency in word choice, based on research and feedback.

Your Profile

 

  • Language virtuoso: Master's degree in translation, French is your mother tongue, and you have an in-depth knowledge of Dutch and English.
  • Experience: 3-4 years' experience as a translator is a plus.
  • Digital Skills: Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with SDL Trados is a plus.
  • Organisational skills: You are organised, can work independently, and are customer-oriented.
  • Accurate and timely: Precision and meeting deadlines are a matter of course for you.
  • Team player: You thrive in a team environment and adapt easily to a dynamic, professional setting.
