Your role
As a Competence Manager Assets, you will play a key role in preparing our employees for tomorrow’s challenges. You identify the strategic skills needed, implement concrete development solutions, and contribute to building a sustainable learning culture.
You will act as the main contact person for the Elia Academy and collaborate closely with HR teams and managers to bridge Elia Group’s strategic ambitions with the operational development of skills.
Your responsibilities
- Identify and analyse current and future skills needs in line with the company’s strategy.
- Build, together with HR, a long-term skills development roadmap.
- Steer and improve training and skills validation programmes.
- Develop a quality assurance system to ensure the impact and relevance of training.
- Strengthen the training capacity within the Assets division.
- Actively promote learning solutions and demonstrate their added value.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our learning environments with Elia Academy.

Your Profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in skills management and project management.
- Passion for adult learning and pedagogy.
- Affinity with the technical field.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent safety mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Collaborative, dynamic, and customer-oriented attitude.
- Very good communication skills in French, Dutch, and English.
