Contribute to the digital transformation of Belgium’s electricity grid

 

Join Elia and play a key role in the evolution of a system essential to the management of technical and document plans: the Plan Management System.

 

As a Digital System Expert – Plan Management, you are responsible for managing, maintaining and improving key tools (ProjectWise, Viewer G-Plan, …).

 

You work at the crossroads of IT and business to ensure the efficiency of the current system and help drive the transition to new digital environments.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Administer and enhance the Plan Management system, ensuring smooth operation and alignment with business needs.
  • Coordinate key stakeholders (Business Analysts, users, designers, IT) around consistent and efficient use of the tools.
  • Ensure proper governance and process quality: workflows, access rights, integrations and data quality.
  • Identify and implement innovations together with colleagues from various departments (digitalisation, 3D, augmented reality, automation).
  • Translate business needs into concrete IT solutions and oversee their implementation (specifications, testing, rollout, reporting).
  • Support and train end users and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation.
  • Create and analyse KPIs through PowerBI to monitor and improve system performance.

Your role directly contributes to:

 

  • the digitalisation and optimisation of plan management processes,
  • the modernisation of the Asset Support department’s IT systems,
  • and the transition to future-oriented technologies.

Your Profile

 

  • Master’s degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong IT affinity and a genuine interest in digital innovation.
  • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Bilingual FR/NL; English is an asset.
  • Experience in managing or migrating an IT system is a plus.
