Function

The expert supports the operations engineers in the management of the regional high-voltage grid for the North Zone.

 

  • Participates in short-, medium-, and long-term planning and operation of the regional high-voltage grids, ensuring safety, supply reliability, and data quality.
  • Based on their expertise, supports operations engineers and dispatchers in daily grid management.
  • Ensures the quality of required data, tools, and processes, with specific support for updating various calculation models so that grid calculation programs function correctly.
  • Maintains a critical view of operational processes and tools, and proactively proposes possible improvements. In this context, organizes participation and guidance of colleagues in the continuous improvement process.
  • Conducts specific analyses within the dispatching domain.
  • Contributes to the development of an open safety culture.
  • Participates in transversal projects that have an impact on dispatching operations.
  • Provides expertise in various working groups and consultative bodies, representing NetOp according to operator instructions.
  • Acts as a back-up for RCC dispatchers and, in this context, performs the duties of a dispatcher.
  • Organizes and delivers training on all topics related to RCC.
  • Coaches new dispatchers.
  • Carries out specific administrative tasks related to the position within regional dispatching.

Your Profile

  • You have a diploma of graduate/bachelor or higher technical studies in a technical field (electricity, electromechanics), or equivalent through your experience.
  • You already have several years of experience in the electrical sector.
  • You have theoretical knowledge of electrical networks, protections, alarms, etc., as well as knowledge of electrical installations in the field (high voltage, medium voltage, etc.).
  • You are able to coach people both technically and in terms of safety.
  • You enjoy working in a team, you are flexible, communicative, and have a positive attitude.
  • You are capable of working carefully and independently.
  • You are stress-resistant.
  • You dare to take initiative.
  • You have a good knowledge of IT and common applications (Word and Excel).
  • A good knowledge of French is an asset.
