Function

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to support the Assets Offshore team in research and analysis and help develop models and algorithms. Specifically, your duties will be as follows: 

 

- You will assist in analysing and interpreting TDR data to understand properties of materials and structures.

- You will assist in preparing technical reports and documents describing results of TDR studies.

- You support the team in developing new methods and techniques for TDR analysis.

- You participate in research on how TDR can be applied in new and emerging areas.

- You contribute to the design and implementation of experiments to test new theories and concepts.

Your Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with the following profile: 

- Bachelor and/or Master student in Electromechanics or energy engineering. 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- A foundation in mathematics and physics is a plus.

- Experience in programming related to data modelling and analysis is also a plus.

- A good understanding of TDR and related techniques would be ideal, but is also not essential.

- Excellent command of Dutch. Knowledge of English is a plus.

- A proactive attitude with good communication skills and working as part of a team

Offer

Period and Duration:

The period of the internship takes place from June to September or from September to December, with a duration of minimum 4 weeks and maximum 12 weeks where you are expected to work 2 to 4 days a week. This internship also provides the opportunity for integration and supervision of the master’s thesis.
