Function
The offshore renewable energy sector is experiencing significant global expansion, with Belgium taking a leading role.
Following the successful implementation of the first offshore high-voltage hub, the Modular Offshore Grid (MOG I), the offshore transmission network is being further developed with the innovative Princess Elisabeth Island. This artificial island will not only serve as a central hub for connecting new offshore wind farms, but also represents a key building block in the development of a future European offshore electricity grid.
In light of this expansion and the increasing technical complexity of our offshore projects, the Offshore Assets team aims to strengthen its engineering capacity. We are therefore looking for a motivated Project Engineer Offshore Structures.

- test and optimise our repair preparedness plans and contracts, in collaboration with the team;
- lead innovative projects to improve the efficiency of our offshore O&M activities. For example: the remote monitoring of offshore substations and cables, using drones and robotics, improving offshore communications, electric vessel charging at sea and using virtual reality for training and work preparation;
- help organise and monitor commissioning activities for the AC modules at the yards in the Netherlands and on the Princess Elisabeth Island;
