Whether you are passionate about high voltage, low voltage, offshore, cables and lines, or a combination of these areas of expertise, Elia can offer you an exciting and varied career.
 

As an Offshore Technician, you will play an essential role in the further development of the offshore high-voltage grid, with the Princess Elisabeth Island as Europe’s first offshore energy hub. Together with the other members of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and commissioning technical assets like GIS modules, transformers, high voltage cables, protection and control systems, HVDC, diesel generators, batteries, communication systems and data networks. Your flexibility and passion for technology enable you to familiarise yourself with and maintain various systems. You will make an invaluable contribution to the energy transition!

Your Profile

 

 

  • Safety comes first for you; it’s your number one priority;
  • You have a technical secondary education certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics;
  • You have a good knowledge of electricity and the ability to read wiring diagrams; 
  • You are a team player and ready for a challenge;
