Function
As Payroll Officer within the Compensation & Benefits team, you are the privileged interlocutor of Elia employees with regard to the personnel administration in the broad sense of the word.
- You will take care of the personnel administration for the active and non-active staff members of the Elia group in accordance with the applicable social and tax legislation: keeping track of social documents, calculating holiday pay and holiday entitlements, managing personnel data, processing contract changes such as job changes or amendments to the labour system, drawing up correspondence on various subjects, calculating certain benefits, calculating expenses, updating communication to staff, etc.
- You work closely with Elia’s social secretariat and manage the files entrusted to you in their entirety.
- You answer and follow up the questions of employees dealing with personnel administration (payslip, social documents, holidays, etc.).
- Together with the team, you are responsible for preparing the monthly salary calculation and you conduct salary processing checks. In this way, you contribute to a correct salary payment process.
Your Profile
- You hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management (or equivalent) and are ready to bring your skills to a dynamic team.
- You have some initial experience in payroll, giving you a solid foundation in social legislation. You're eager to keep learning and deepen your expertise.
- Fluency in at least one of the two national languages (French or Dutch) as a native speaker is required. A good command of the other language is preferred, or at the very least, a strong willingness to learn it.
- You have a client-focused mindset and communicate in a clear and friendly way.
- You enjoy working as part of a team and contribute to a positive team spirit.
- You're detail-oriented, organized, and like things to be done right.
- You're confident using MS Office, enjoy working with numbers, and have excellent Excel skills.
