Do you want to shape the future of energy as part of an international Procurement team?
As Process Owner and Project Lead for Procurement Excellence at Elia Group, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing key procurement processes and tools within the Group Procurement department. You take ownership of process design, guaranteeing our procurement activities are efficient, compliant, and strategically aligned with Elia Group’s ambitions.
In this strategic role, you translate business needs into practical, innovative solutions. You coordinate with multiple departments—including Business, Finance, Legal, and IT—and manage change to optimize processes and deliver clear reporting and insights to senior management.
You drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities, introducing best practices, and leading process enhancement initiatives. You design and deliver impactful training, support knowledge sharing, and facilitate adoption among colleagues and stakeholders.
A key part of your role is facilitating, steering, and moderating workshops and committees, ensuring active engagement and genuine stakeholder buy-in throughout the organization.
Your strong stakeholder management skills help you build alignment, foster collaboration, and maintain effective relationships across departments. You ensure strict adherence to risk management and compliance standards, safeguarding our procurement integrity. By monitoring market and regulatory trends, you bring fresh insights that help keep Elia Group future-proof.
Additionally, you lead transversal projects, guiding cross-functional teams toward shared objectives and success. In this dynamic role, you drive innovation in procurement, steer crucial initiatives, and contribute to the sustainable energy transition within an ambitious, international environment.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years’ professional experience, ideally in procurement or process management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in designing and implementing business processes
- Ability to manage and lead cross-functional projects
- Skilled in stakeholder management and communication
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance standards
- Experience in reporting and performance monitoring
- Continuous improvement mindset; proactive in identifying and implementing optimizations
- Up-to-date with market trends and industry best practices
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work in an international, cross-functional environment
