Do you have a strong technical background and proven experience in leading multidisciplinary projects? Elia Group is seeking experienced Project Engineers and Project Leaders to join our team and shape the energy transition.
Your job responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for electricity infrastructure projects and will be responsible for the construction, expansion and replacement of the infrastructure.
- You will work autonomously and will be responsible for defining, designing, studying and implementing projects up to and including their commissioning (and their administrative closure), taking into account the applicable codes and standards so that safety can be guaranteed at all times.

Depending on your role (Project Engineer or Project Leader):
- As a Project Engineer, you focus on the technical development and follow-up of projects within your area of expertise, acting as the contact person for all technical matters. You are responsible for the technical supervision of on-site works, working together with the relevant entities and contractors.
- As a Project Leader, you take on the overall coordination of the project and manage a multidisciplinary team (with a functional rather than hierarchical relationship). You are also responsible for planning, budget, and stakeholder management. You organize and coordinate the overall on-site execution of the works in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You will organise and coordinate the execution of works on-site, in cooperation with the relevant Elia Group entities and contractors (suppliers, contractors, outsourcing companies, etc.).
- You will draw up proposals for technical improvements and safety enhancements by making a proactive contribution to the feedback process.
- You will contribute to the development of Elia and the Infrastructure Division by actively taking part in Group-wide working groups.

Your Profile
- You have an engineering education, preferably in electrical/electromechanical engineering.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in Project Leading/ Project Managing/ Project Engineering or a similar role.
- Expertise in Substations or Lines and Cables is a plus, but not a necessity.
- You have a strong interest in the challenging world of the energy transition and you want to contribute to the implementation of important and societally relevant projects through your personal commitment and drive to innovate.
- You are able to take initiative, organise, communicate assertively and show leadership.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
- You are open to personal development, continuous learning and giving and receiving constructive feedback
Offer
Salary: a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€10 per working day), eco-vouchers, year-end vouchers as well as bonuses based on individual and group results.

Location
Your home base will be Leon Monnoyerkaai 3, 1000 Brussels, but you will often be on-site for your projects
