Elia is seeking a Telecom Contracting Operational Support professional to assist with operational activities related to major telecom customers’ 5G roll‑out projects. These projects involve approximately 900 sites, requiring technical verification, on‑site participation, quality control, and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities

Technical Drawing Verification & Documentation

• Verify technical drawings according to agreed customer guidelines.
• Update internal information systems and databases to ensure optimal project follow‑up.
• Coordinate with Elia’s internal services when design inconsistencies or issues arise.

On‑Site Project Participation

• Attend kick‑off meetings on site with external customers, primarily in Flanders and occasionally in Wallonia.
• Perform acceptance visits to check work quality, take photos, and ensure projects are built according to validated drawings and Elia guidelines.
• Check for potential damages to Elia infrastructure or surrounding terrain.

As‑Built & Quality Control

• Review and validate as‑built drawings to ensure compliance with approved plans and standards.
• Verify and approve State of Premises documents before and after works, including photo documentation.
• Prepare written acceptance reports and communicate findings to relevant service providers.

Follow‑Up & Issue Resolution

• Update internal databases and file repositories to maintain accurate project tracking.
• Monitor and follow up on punch lists to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide regular progress updates and escalate issues when necessary.

Stakeholder Communication

• Manage daily incoming requests from external service providers.
• Provide timely feedback, action requests, and responses to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate closely with Telecom Contracting Key Account Managers (KAMs) and deliver frequent status reports.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, technical bachelor degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong ability to read technical plans and excellent spatial awareness.
• Experience with mobile telecom infrastructure is a strong plus
• Solid knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Native/fluent Dutch speaker with good command of French and English (oral and written).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a structured and proactive approach.
• Valid driving license B.
• Flexibility to travel to sites.
