Implementation & Contracting Manager

Function
At a time of constantly changing energy market products and international cooperation needs, you will serve as a vital link between design and operations with a view to guaranteeing the implementation (development and rollout) of the projects needed to respond to these challenges. You will also acquire the necessary expertise in order to assume responsibility for both system services and business management support.
Integrating suppliers into system services
- You will act as suppliers' point of contact at Elia when it comes to the technical activities key to the provision of system services.
- You will support and guide new suppliers of ancillary services when they arrive on the Belgian market.
Implementing projects
- You will help design new products and question the technical feasibility and operational impact of proposals.
- You will work with the other parties involved to set the scope, schedule and budget of the department's projects and initiatives.
- You will act as the lead and business point of contact for implementation, ensuring smooth integration into the relevant operational process.
Monitoring and improving operational processes
- You will monitor the progress of the department's operational processes and tools.
- You will proactively suggest ways to improve operational processes and tools.
Your Profile
- You have a university degree in a technical field.
- You have one to three years' experience.
- You understand how the energy sector works and ideally are familiar with the regulatory framework.
- You speak Dutch, English and French.
- You have an analytical mind.
- You can communicate clearly.
- You are a results-oriented team player.
- You are very familiar with IT applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of VBA is an advantage.
