Intern or Working Student for Innovation - (f/m/d)

Become part of Elia Group’s innovation team and support the digitalization in the energy sector.


Your tasks:

 

We are looking for several motivated candidates to support us in different fields of innovation in the energy sector: 

  • Offshore Innovation – A junior project manager who can support in maintaining the focus and momentum across various innovative offshore projects in the organization,
  • Startup Engagement – Supporting the Open Innovation Challenge, managing the startup database, facilitating collaborations between business and startups, including scouting activities, developing implementation plans for startup strategy and building venture networks,
  • Innovation Ecosystems – Creating processes for technology scouting, development of external collaboration metrics, creating/visualising open innovation frameworks, 

 

Besides your project responsibility, you will support the innovation team in their daily work to facilitate and manage innovation processes. We work with flat hierarchies, and you are seen as a full team member from day one. This means that you will quickly take over responsibility - be it in project scoping, tendering processes, project execution, reporting or communication. The precise scope of your internship is discussed individually based on your experience, knowledge and learning goals. Ideally, you are committed to a 6-month internship/working student contract, with potential for extension.

 
We imagine that you…

  • Show and prove your high interest in the energy sector, energy transition, digitalization and new technologies. Be it within university projects, internships or extramural engagement,
  • Are an enrolled student in related fields with above average grades,
  • Are interested in offshore activities and the maritime environment or in open innovation,
  • Have a high degree of independency in your working approach and that you actively contribute your own ideas as well as have the courage to question existing processes and working methods,
  • Are interested in working collaboratively across different internal departments and external partners,
  • Are familiar with PowerPoint and Excel,
  • Can present in front of an audience,
  • Are fluent in English (at least on C1 level), Dutch, French and German would be a plus.
