I develop software components and operate data integration solutions for the digital energy transition at 50Hertz

In the Data Integration Chapter, I design and implement modern, secure, and scalable data integration solutions for grid operations. I work closely with specialists from various departments, share best practices, and continuously develop my skills—both professionally and technically.


My Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, secure architectures and modules for data processing and integration,
  • Design protocol adapters for industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus TCP),
  • Implement secure file transfers and monitoring between security zones,
  • Define coding standards, observability, and security guidelines,
  • Perform troubleshooting and collaborate closely with the Data Chapter and product team.


My Qualifications

  • Degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent qualification,
  • Several years of experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Apache Camel,
  • Solid expertise in microservices, event streaming (Kafka), OT protocols, and distributed architectures,
  • Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes (Azure, AWS, GCP),
  • Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP), relational databases (e.g., Postgres), and messaging systems,
  • Experience in guiding and mentoring software developers,
  • Excellent English skills (C1) and good German skills (at least B1).

  • Experience in frontend development with Angular.
