What has changed as a result of the Corona pandemic?

If necessary, we can easily switch interviews and selection processes to telephone, video and online formats. This means we can get to know each other easily at any time, regardless of the current Corona situation.

We personally inform everyone who is invited to an interview or selection process about the respective format chosen and the technical requirements.

How can I apply?

Please apply via our application form, which you can access from any job posting by clicking the "Apply now" button.

Have you already applied to 50Hertz since 01.07.2021? Then you already have a candidate account with us and can log in from the application form with your e-mail address and password.

Our application form is short and clear, so you will need little time to send it and no special preparations. Use the "Apply" button at the end of the form to submit your application.

  • Please always send a resume and relevant (degree) certificates this way. A cover letter is not necessary. If you would still like to write something about yourself and your motivation in a cover letter, this will help us to understand your application more comprehensively.
  • We recommend that you combine all application documents in one file and upload it in the " Complete application (resume and certificates)" field.
  • If you have more than one file, you can upload an additional file in the "Cover letter" field.
  • If you would like to upload additional files, you can still submit them later from your candidate account (which is automatically created when you first apply) for this application.

In your candidate account you can track the status of all your applications.

How does the application process work in general?

  • Immediately after we receive your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail. If, exceptionally, you do not receive a confirmation of receipt, this is an indication that we have not received your application. In this case, please contact us by e-mail or telephone so that we can check this together.
  • We sift through the applications we receive on an ongoing basis, so we appreciate it if you apply promptly.
  • Based on the applications we receive, we make an initial selection from among the candidates and then invite them to the selection process, usually a telephone interview.
  • As a rule, we then conduct a personal interview (as a face-to-face or video interview) with the narrowest circle of candidates, with a partially modified group of participants.
  • Depending on the job profile, case studies and/or assessment centers may be part of the application process.

How can I prepare for an interview at 50Hertz?

  • The aim of our interviews is to get to know each other well and to align mutual expectations.
  • We recommend that you go through the job posting again beforehand and keep in mind where you have performed comparably in the recent past. This is because we would like to conduct the interview along concrete examples from your professional practice.
  • Also think about what you would like to learn from us in the interview. This will ensure that after the interview you have all the information you need to make your personal decision on a sound basis.
