50Hertz decided against a complex certification by an expensive service provider. We rather promote four non-commercial distinctions: Kununu, Brigitte, Fair Company and Trendence. For all of them the feedback of 50Hertz employees, trainees, apprentices and interns is decisive as well as reliable data evaluation.
Transparency and Sustainability
It is understood that transparency and reliability are absolutely critical for the performance of a task that has a direct impact on society and the environment in so many ways, and are therefore taken very seriously by 50Hertz. Top Employer for Women
In this year, 50Hertz was again named a top employer for women by the BRIGITTE Academy for the third time in a row. As part of the research study, we were also surveyed on the areas of "compatibility of family and career", "career advancement of women" and "transparency", which are important for equality. The four out of five stars we achieved are both confirmation and a mandate for us.
Support of the German Association of Women Engineers
Within the framework of sponsoring, 50Hertz stands by the German Association of Women Engineers (Deutscher Ingenieurinnenbund e.V.) and is thus also committed to improving the representation and networking of women in technical professions in order to contribute in the long term to increasing the proportion of women in these professions and fields of activity.
