Join the 50Hertz ‘System of the Future’ team in a proactive think tank to help shape the climate-neutral energy system.  


Your tasks: 

  • Think outside the box when solving the central tasks of the energy transition, 
  • Engage in regular discussions with internal departments such as Strategy, Innovation, Grid Planning and Energy Management as well as external partners such as industrial companies, other European grid operators, research institutes, etc., 
  • Research current European or international publications like studies, papers or political position papers, 
  • Either work on energy storage in the core team of our current Elia study, which will be published next autumn with a major public event, and support the team leader in terms of content and organisation,
  • Or work on hydrogen in our internal analysis, with high-level management interest, and research about current developments in various countries around the world. 


We think you'll be a good fit if you...

  • Are committed to pursuing your advanced Master's degree,
  • Are passionate about the energy transition,
  • Are independent and take personal responsibility for your tasks, 
  • Are proficient in the common MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Have very good written and spoken English (C1).
