I develop and further grow a product, which is part of Elia Group’s Digital Enhancement product line to create value for our business lines and a successful energy transition.


Why is this role interesting for me? The Elia Group is at the forefront of the energy transition. As a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner, I will manage and drive the development of our Digital Workplace Communication product. I will be responsible for defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities for our communication tools set and solutions. I will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and designers to deliver an intuitive and user-friendly digital environment that enhances productivity and user experience. I will lead a SCRUM team that builds, governs and supports group wide solutions.


My responsibilities:

  • Definition and management of the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and growth opportunities for the product,
  • Close collaboration with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements, while facilitating stakeholder alignment and engagement across the product lifecycle,
  • Collaboration with development teams as well as UX/UI designers to ensure product requirements are understood and implemented effectively and user-friendly,
  • Prioritizing features and tasks with other departments, 
  • Ensuring state of the art solutions by conducting market research,
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer to the support team and organizing an on-duty service (after business hours support) together with other product owners of the product line team.


My profile: 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, engineering or a comparable related field,
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in product management in IT area, preferably related to information management,
  • Experience with digital workplace solutions, focusing on pushed communication like external web sites, intranet, digital signage, mailing solutions, video edition and video studio management, event management / registration management tools, 
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, tech-savvy and curious about new technologies,
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams,
  • General willingness to travel, 
  • Language skills: German and English (C1), French or Dutch are a plus.
