Your mission: Drive innovation and build next-generation tools
As an Asset Performance Management (APM) expert, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming how assets are managed across the Elia Group. You will be instrumental in establishing a state-of-the-art knowledge center that pioneers condition-based, risk-based, remote, and predictive asset management approaches.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and Drive Innovation:
- Co-develop a groundbreaking vision for APMO and oversee the product development process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape and implement forward-looking asset management concepts.
2. Focus on User-Centered Development:
- Research and prioritize user needs to design features that deliver maximum value.
- Lead Agile product development processes and ensure seamless functional design.
- Maintain a well-structured backlog of user stories and product improvements.
3. Act as a Strategic Collaborator:
- Serve as the main point of contact between project teams, product development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Make informed decisions and perform trade-off analyses to meet business objectives.
- Use your analytical expertise to evaluate asset performance data and propose actionable improvements.
4. Own the Product Lifecycle
- Translate roadmap initiatives into concrete, impactful capabilities.
- Establish systems to track product performance post-launch and drive continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate Globally, Innovate Locally
- Co-develop features in collaboration with Redeia (Spain’s TSO).
- Stay at the forefront of emerging predictive asset management technologies.
Your Profile: Combine Technical Expertise with Strategic Vision
This role is for you if you thrive on driving innovation and taking ownership of impactful initiatives:
- You hold à Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- You have acquired solid experience of 4 to 5 years in project management.
- You are proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI).
- You have a strong understanding of IT systems and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile methodologies.
- You have experience with asset management software and digital platforms.
- You are a natural problem-solver with outstanding analytical and organizational skills.
- You communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a strong understanding of asset management principles and utility industry operations.
- You are fluent in English and at least one national language (FR/NL).
