As a Commissioning Engineer – High Voltage Systems for the Hainaut, Walloon Brabant, and Brussels region, you will play a key role in managing technical operations on the Belgian high-voltage grid.

You will work closely with the Commissioning Manager, to whom you will report directly, and you will be involved in projects related to Secondary Systems (protection relays, cabinets, bay computers, etc.), as well as maintenance, repair, and commissioning activities for equipment.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing Interventions: You will assist the Commissioning Manager in organizing, monitoring, and optimizing technical field operations, ensuring continuous, high-quality service.
- Team Supervision: You will support the development of field teams, help strengthen their skills, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Technical Validation: You will participate in the commissioning of new infrastructure equipment, ensuring compliance with operational safety and performance requirements.
- Innovation and Harmonization: You will contribute to the standardization and implementation of processes and working methods to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Safety First: You will play a key role in enforcing and ensuring compliance with new safety regulations on the field.
- Technical Partnership: You will act as a technical point of contact for internal and external clients, providing advice and tailored solutions.
- Strategic Projects: You will contribute to cross-departmental initiatives aimed at optimizing structures, processes, and departmental operations.
Your Profile
- You hold a degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering or have equivalent experience.
- You are a recent graduate eager to learn and develop your field skills, or an experienced engineer with several years in a similar role.
- You have a solid understanding of high-voltage networks and Secondary Systems.
- You possess excellent organizational skills and a sharp analytical mindset.
- You are creative and effective in problem-solving.
- You are bilingual (French-Dutch) and have a good command of English.
- You are proactive, enjoy teamwork, and are willing to travel within the region.
