Compensation & Benefits Analyst
Function
As Compensation & Benefits Analyst, you will be part of the C&B Team and you will have a role of support in the Comp&Ben area of ELIA.
Focus will be on the pratical aspects of building and maintaining optimal Comp&Ben policies:
- You assist in keeping the data in the Comp&Ben system complete and up to date.
- You answer questions from employees on the Comp&Ben package and the policies in a clear and assertive way.
- You will help the C&B Manager with day-to-day management of the various aspects of pay policy (specifically: pay proposals, annual pay reviews, payment of the variable remuneration, updating the car policy, travel policy, insurance policies, ADSL and mobile phones, etc.).
- You will develop profound knowledge of the technicalities within the comp&ben area and document the data/elements needed in this area.
- In consultation with the C&B Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the communication on Comp&Ben issues that keeps the HR Department and colleagues from the business up-to-date on pay policy and ensures that HR has a positive image with the business and employees.
- You will provide a support as to the classification system of ELIA as well as the processes used. You will help the C&B Manager ensure that the business applies the position classification system for executive staff correctly and coherently.
- You will support the development and optimization of new and existing procedures and processes.
- You will support analyses concerning the remuneration policy (analyses of data,…) in order to further adapt and improve the appropriate remuneration policy within ELIA.
- You will support ELIA’s participation in external benchmarking and also analyse market results and developments, to be in a position to provide the various stakeholders involved in the pay review processes with correct and up-to-date information.
- You will participate in projects in the Comp&Ben area.

Your Profile
- You are a team player and you like working on transversal projects.
- You have a university degree (in law, economics or human resources) or a bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience.
- You have an in-depth knowledge of tax and social legislation and accounting.
- You have initial, relevant experience (approx. 2 to 3 years) in a payroll position or in a practical oriented C&B role.
- You are trilingual (Dutch, French and English).
- You have good communication skills and can be assertive.
- You have good IT knowledge; an in-depth knowledge of Excel is a must.
- You are analytical, work quickly and accurately and are discreet. You also perform well under pressure.
- The interests of our ‘internal customers’ are paramount to you.
